The All Dulles Area Muslim Society(ADAMS) Deplores and Condemns The Attacks in London as "barbaric crimes."

(Sterling, VA – 7/7/2005) – The All Dulles Area Muslim Society(ADAMS), along with other Muslim organizations throughout North America condemn these barbaric crimes that can never be justified or excused. American Muslims offer their sincere condolences to the loved ones of those who were killed or injured in today's attacks and call for the swift apprehension and punishment of the perpetrators.

"Islam, the religion of tolerance, holds the human soul in high esteem, and considers the attack against innocent human beings a grave sin, this is backed by the Qur'anic verse which reads:

"Who so ever kills a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he has killed all mankind, and who so ever saves the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind," (Quran).

Friday is a Muslim Holy Day and during our Sermons we will be condemning these terrorist attacks. In addition, during the Sermons we will be saying a special prayer and condolences to families of those who were killed or injured.

The All Dulles Area Muslim Society(ADAMS) is one of the largest Mosques in the DC Metro Area and in the United States. ADAMS is a Non Profit 501c3 Organization. ADAMS serves over 5000 Families and has 7 Branches(Sterling/Herndon, Tysons Corner, Fairfax, Reston, Leesburg, Ashburn, and South Riding) in Northern Virginia. ADAMS center is governed by a 13 Member Democratically Elected Board of Trustees comprising of Men and Women. ADAMS engages in regular Interfaith, Government Relations, Social Services, and Community Service. ADAMS has one of the largest Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Girl Scout programs in the DC Metro area. The ADAMS Center serves on an advisory council to the FBI Washington Field Office. In addition, we have hosted FBI Town Hall meetings at the ADAMS Center. VA
