My name is Sana Pasha. I joined the ADAMS community in 1998, when I first started college. I have lived in this community ever since and have benefited immensely from it—from attending Imam Magid’s Friday night halaqas at Grove Street-ADAMS to finding my closest friends in the ADAMS girls’ youth group.

I had the pleasure of serving as a teacher in Saturday school, and have volunteered in different capacities over the years and on various committees including Zakat, Eid, Education, Women’s and Refugee Relief. Professionally, I was a software engineer, working mainly as a government contractor. I am now a stay-at-home mother of my 4 children, who also benefit greatly from this community.

I have served on the board of the Peaceful Families Project and was chairman of the board of the Mission One Ummah Foundation. I currently serve in an advisory capacity for the Thrive Center in Fairfax, VA, with programming geared towards Muslim women. I also serve as an advisor for the ZamZam Project, a non-profit YouTube channel that teaches simple tafseer of the Quran.

It would be my honor to serve as a board member for ADAMS Center and give back to this community that has given so much to me.
