Why this course matters: Ensure your daily worship is sound, confident, and grounded in reliable scholarship.
Course Description
This course offers a structured study of purification (ṭahārah) and prayer (ṣalāh) according to the Hanafi madhhab.
Many Muslims have not formally studied these essential acts of worship, despite their status as personal obligations (farḍ ʿayn). This course addresses that gap through a clear and systematic presentation of the foundational rulings governing purification and daily prayer.
The course is based primarily on the classical Hanafi primer Ascent to Felicity (Marāqī al-Saʿādāt) by Abu’l-Ikhlāṣ Ḥasan al-Shurunbulālī, along with supplementary references such as Al-Fiqh al-Hanafi wa Adillatuhu where beneficial.
Students will gain clarity, confidence, and practical knowledge while also being introduced to key differences between madhāhib where relevant.
Studying fiqh in an organized manner helps reduce doubt, avoid confusion, and minimize reliance on inconsistent or fragmented sources.
