An Introduction to the Essentials of Islamic Beliefs

Why this course matters: Strengthen your understanding of core beliefs and deepen your relationship with Allah.

Course Description

This course offers a clear introduction to the essential foundations of Islamic theology (ʿaqīdah), exploring what Muslims believe and how those beliefs shape daily life.

Core topics include belief in:

  • Allah and His attributes
  • Angels
  • Revelation
  • Prophethood
  • The afterlife
  • Divine decree

Alongside intellectual understanding, the course emphasizes how sound belief strengthens devotion, reliance upon Allah, and clarity in navigating life.

The course is based on Essentials of Islamic Faith, a translation and commentary by Imam Suhaib Webb on a classical creed by Shaykh Ahmad al-Dardir, supplemented with additional commentary.
