ADAMS Youth

You have
a home here.

Young people who know their deen, carry their identity with pride, serve their community with purpose, and always have a place at ADAMS.

Growing up is its own kind of journey. ADAMS Youth walks it alongside you.

From the first halaqah to late nights at the cafe, from the sports field to the community project, we build spaces where young people can ask real questions, form real friendships, and grow closer to Allah without ever feeling like they have to choose between their faith and their world. Whoever you are, wherever you are on the path, there is room for you here.

Programs & What We Offer

Our programming spans the full journey of growing up, from the early years through young adulthood, with something for every stage and every interest.

The Grounding

Honest conversation about the things that actually weigh on us: identity, spirituality, and what it means to live as a Muslim in the modern world. The Grounding is a space to think out loud, wrestle with the hard questions, and leave a little steadier than you came in.

Youth Halaqahs

Regular circles of knowledge and reflection for youth and young adults, led by mentors who show up for the long haul. Come to learn, come to connect, come to be reminded of who you are and Whose you are. Our sisters halaqah, ADAMS Sirat, gathers at ADAMS Ashburn.

Young Adults League

Our young adults league brings the community together on the court and the field. Show up to compete, to move, and to build the kind of brotherhood and sisterhood that lasts well beyond the final whistle.

Sports, Camps & Social Activities

Not everything meaningful happens in a classroom. From overnight camps to bonfires and campus meetups, ADAMS Youth creates the kind of spaces where friendships are built, memories are made, and belonging is felt.

Qahwa Cafe

A modern cafe and gathering space built right into the community, designed for connection, creativity, and good conversation. Whether you are studying, catching up with friends, or just need somewhere to be, Qahwa is where the community comes together.

Meet the Team

The people behind ADAMS Youth are mentors, educators, and role models invested in every young person who walks through our doors.

Br. Ahmed Mostafa

Youth Director

Br. Ahmed is a Hafidh of the Quran with a background in traditional Islamic studies and years of experience teaching Quran and Islamic studies, mentoring youth, and building community programs across New Jersey, Virginia, and Arkansas. He also brings a professional background in business development and product management, along with a degree in Computer and Systems Engineering. Having grown up between Cairo and the United States, he understands what it takes to help young Muslims build a confident Islamic identity while navigating the world around them.

His approach centers on authentic relationships and creating spaces where young people feel heard, known, valued, and inspired to grow closer to Allah. As Youth Director, he leads the vision and heart of ADAMS Youth, and his door is open to every young person who walks through it.

Br. Omar Farooq

Qahwa Cafe & Youth Engagement

Br. Omar keeps the pulse of the community running through Qahwa Cafe, the space where our young adults gather, create, and connect. From events to everyday hangouts, he is the person who makes sure there is always somewhere to belong and something worth showing up for. If you want to know what is happening this week, Omar is the one to ask.
