3-week series on Thursdays at 8:00 after Isha. Doors open at 7:45 for socialization.

Join us at Qahwa Cafe for Strong ENOUGH TO BE GENTLE, the latest session of the Grounding, as we explore the dimensions of GRACE through both a spiritual and a contemporary lens.

We are taught to forgive, to overlook, and to be gentle. But many of us give grace from a place of exhaustion and quietly call it kindness. How do we extend mercy to others without losing ourselves? And what does it mean to be strong enough to be gentle?

Drawing on the Qur’an and the Prophetic example, we’ll consider how rahmah begins with being held by Allah’s mercy, and how that wholeness makes real gentleness possible. Together, we’ll reflect on what it means to extend grace without self-abandonment and explore practical ways to begin.

Featuring a talk and discussions, this session offers space to reflect, share perspectives, and consider how these ideas apply in our daily lives.

Open to young adults and working professionals ages 21+. Registration is free and donations are highly encouraged to help support future events at Qahwa. Reserve your ticket, and we look forward to seeing you there, inshaAllah!
