My name is Saba Baig. I reside in Ashburn with my husband and four children. In my free time, I enjoy reading, journaling, trying new recipes, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

It has been an honor to serve on the ADAMS Board this past year, and I am seeking re-election to continue strengthening our community. I bring over 25 years of experience as an educator, mentor, and leader in schools and community organizations. I have taught at both public and Islamic schools, most recently as an elementary teacher at Al Fatih Academy. I am also currently training to work with individuals with autism and special needs, furthering my dedication to inclusive education.

At ADAMS, I have served as a Girl Scout leader, MIST coach, and representative on the LCPS Equity Committee. I helped launch the MSA at Independence High School and worked with LCPS to secure permanent prayer spaces and wudu stations in new schools. I have spoken at numerous interfaith events, serve as Chair of the ADAMS ACE team, and am a board member of the ADAMS ACHN board. I also worked with the ADAMS New Muslim Group and our Imams to create welcoming spaces for converts and reverts, hosting events and Iftars to strengthen belonging.
