Inviting to the Prophet’s Way
Friday, January 2, 2025 | After isha (prayer at 8 pm)
ADAMS Sterling
Join us for a special evening with guest speaker Ustadh Ubaydullah Evans for a program focused on the timeless approach of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to inviting others to Islam.
This session will explore how the Prophet presented Islam through his character, conduct, and story—and what lessons can be drawn from his methodology of da‘wah in today’s context. The talk will emphasize practical, accessible ways of sharing Islam that resonate meaningfully with people in our time.
The program will feature a structured lecture with clear, tangible examples, followed by a moderated Q&A with the community.
About the Speaker
Ustadh Ubaydullah Evans is ALIM’s first Scholar-in-Residence. He embraced Islam in high school and went on to study foundational Islamic sciences under local scholars before continuing his studies at the Institute of Islamic Education (Chicago), in Tarim, Yemen, and at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt—where he became the first African American to graduate from its Shari‘a program. He also teaches with the Ta’leef Collective and the Inner-City Muslim Action Network (IMAN).
