Join us the start of our latest 3-week Grounding module as we move Beyond the Why in the journey of Discovering Our Purpose
Led by Awais Sheikh, finding our purpose is the existential questions for every human. Without it, we feel lost but the quest to find it can frustratingly elusive.
We will start by looking at Simon Sinek groundbreaking “Start with Why” which told a generation of leaders to “Start with Why”. But while it was a breakthrough at the time, for many of us, it is no longer enough.
Knowing your Why is still essential, but without grounding it in belief, it lacks context. It doesn’t tell you how to invite blessing into your work. And it doesn’t tell you what to do with outcomes you can’t control.
To that end, we will explore The Sacred Circle is a new framework for purpose, built for values-aligned professionals navigating work, identity, and meaning in our time. It takes the Golden Circle further, into three questions that build on and enhance the Why-How-What framework.
Over three weeks at The Grounding, we look inward together to explore the threads of your identity, design a pattern for your future, and weave your dreams into reality, all grounded in our relationship with Allah and each other.
The Schedule
Week 1 – Belief
What do you actually believe about yourself, the people you lead, and God? Purpose doesn’t start with your goals. It starts with your convictions. We explore how foundational beliefs quietly shape every decision we make.
Week 2- Blessings
How are you showing up, and are you inviting blessing into how you work? Inspired by the work of Mohammad Faris, this session explores the spiritual quality of our work — presence, intention, and alignment over mere efficiency.
Week 3 – Trust
What is your relationship with outcomes you can’t control? We do the work. We lead with integrity. And then we learn to let go. This session is about the practice of trust.
Featuring a talk and discussions, the event begins promptly at 7:30 and takes place in Qahwa Cafe.
Open to attendees ages 21+, the latest session in our weekly series for young working professionals on contemporary issues through spiritual lens.
