“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”

Join us for this special session of Grounding where we will discuss the vulnerable and arduous, Art of Letting Go.

For better or worse, many of us find ourselves forming attachments. Whether it’s someone you loved, a role or place you hold dear, or the countless possessions and substances of this world. But letting go can be painful, even when you know it must be done and even when it’s departure is inevitable.

We will discuss key questions including: What makes an attachment unhealthy? Is there anything we should attach ourselves to? How do our connections exist in this life relative to our connections in the next life? How do we overcome when God takes something or someone away from you? And how can we find the strength to let go?

Covering all ranges of attachments from relationships to addictions, we will explore how the path to God is often accelerated, less by increasing the pace, and instead by clearing the way.

Featuring a talk and discussions, the event begins promptly at 7:30 and takes place in Qawha Cafe.

Open to attendees ages 21+, the latest session in our weekly series for young working professionals on contemporary issues through spiritual lens, free registration is options but highly encouraged. Donations are greatly appreciated to support future events and we look forward to seeing you there!
