Zakat Ul Fitr & Fidya Opportunities

Through Zakat ul Fitr, Fidya, and ADAMS Center’s support programs, you can uplift individuals and families facing hardship while fulfilling your personal religious obligations.

Understanding
Zakat ul Fitr & Fidya

Zakat ul Fitr is applicable to all eligible Muslims and is to be paid before Eid al-Fitr. Its purpose is to purify one’s fast and ensure that every family in our community can celebrate Eid with dignity.

Fidya is a charitable contribution for individuals who cannot fast due to long-term health or medical conditions and are unable to make up the missed fasts later. Fidya donations help provide meals to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

At ADAMS Center, these forms of giving are distributed throughout Ramadan, directly to those who need them most.
