🕰 Time: Sundays after Dhuhr (Dhuhr iqamah is at 1:30 PM)

Our history as a Muslim community is filled with moments of growth, challenge, and transformation. From the time of the Prophet ﷺ through the rise of powerful civilizations, the story of Islam has left a lasting mark on the world — through scholarship, innovation, values, and the enduring spirit of faith.
This weekly class with Ustadh Shad Imam offers more than just a historical overview. Yes, you’ll learn fascinating facts, key figures, and pivotal events — but this course is not just about dates and dynasties. It’s about seeing history through a spiritual lens — recognizing the wisdom of Allah in the unfolding of events, and drawing lessons that connect our past to our present lives.
Each session is designed to help us reflect:
What can we learn from the lives of those before us?
How does our legacy as an ummah shape who we are today?
Where do we see the hand of God in the challenges and triumphs of history?
Each session contains a self-contained, spiritually relevant lesson, and the class is divided into modules focusing on specific periods. Whether you’re brand new to Islamic history or reconnecting with it, you’ll find both knowledge and inspiration.
