Join us for a special artist feature with Mahnoor as she hosts a painting and gilding workshop!
Mahnoor is a multimedia artist and graphic designer, currently focusing on Arabic Calligraphy. She has worked with several different mediums and on many different types of projects. As a self-taught artist, she strives to teach herself new techniques and styles in order to broaden her horizons in creativity.
Mahnoor loves designing work that can create light and warmth in others’ homes. Each piece she makes is original to honor her motto “just as no two stars are the same.”
Featuring a brief talk where Mahnoor will discuss her personal painting process and inspiration, the main event consists of a workshop where attendees will paint their very own works using gilding: the process of applying a thin layer of metal to achieve a decorative effect! Unique pieces created by Mahnoor will also be available for purchase after the event!
Workshop Tickets – $20 (which will be used to cover the cost of materials).
Additionally, donations are always appreciated to help fund future Qahwa events!
