The incredibly successful understanding emotion series returns for 3 back-to-back weeks every Friday!
Led by Imam Abdul-Malik Merchant, this 3- week series event is comprised of a lecture, Q&A and concludes with question-based group discussion. Each week we will examine and discuss a new emotion through an Islamic lens, illuminating the role and harms that emotion can play in our lives while highlighting the emotional awareness to acknowledge the emotions within ourselves and others.
Week 1 – Sadness
Week 2 – Joy
Week 3 – Apathy
This event begins at 8:30 after Maghrib and is open to attendees 14+. Tickets are mandatory and donations are greatly appreciated to help us fund future events! One ticket covers all 3 weeks.
